Mixed Berry Popsicle

Popsicles are a great treat for kids and  super easy to make.  This version is a healthy one. You can use virtually any fruit.  My kids love strawberry and banana blended with Greek yogurt.  If you kids like a thicker consistency use Greek yogurt, for a thinner consistency get regular yogurt.  Make sure that the fruit you use is sweet.  If you choose to use frozen fruit, always make sure that there is no added sugar.

If you don’t have Popsicle molds, you can use a Dixie cup and peel it off after it has frozen.  I have added a great video for any one who has never made popsicles: Please click on the link below:

Mixed Berry Popsicle

Ingredients:
3 cups plain yogurt
1 cup of fresh fruit or organic frozen fruit (Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and bananas).
½ cup of lime juice
Directions:
In a blender mix the yogurt, fruit and lime juice. Pour in to Popsicle molds (or dixie cups) and add the sticks.
Place in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
